Business in Asia - Policy Challenges in the New Global Landscape
The global economy is changing at unprecedented speed. Many existing economic theories, systems and institutions of governance are struggling to accommodate the re-balancing that is underway. Meanwhile, ongoing uncertainties in the global operating environment continue to test business confidence. This session will explore and discuss these new global realities and their impact on businesses in Asia. It shall consider the changing roles of business and policy and probe risks and opportunities. It will also examine how businesses and policymakers can work effectively together to shape the new global economy in a way that growth can be sustainable.
