Asia Global Dialogue

Asia-Global Dialogue 2012

The Fung Global Institute is pleased to present the inaugural Asia-Global Dialogue, to be held on 31 May to 2 June, 2012, at the Conrad Hotel, Hong Kong, with about 300 delegates from around the globe.

Asia-Global Dialogue, the Institute’s flagship annual forum, provides a global platform for CEOs, entrepreneurs, financiers, policymakers and civil society leaders from Asia and around the world to  engage in dialogue on foremost global challenges and what they mean for business and the global economy.

A distinguished line-up of international speakers and panelists will address the theme “Towards a New Global Economy: Re-defining Asia's Role.”, led by senior Asian business and thought leaders. Together they will frame the key challenges, identify issues of common concern, start prioritising what needs to be done and recognise where overlapping interests and values can drive solutions. The intention is to map the positive role Asian businesses can play beyond the policy gridlock and lack of political consensus that currently inhibit global progress on so many fronts, from institutional reform to the creation of jobs.

Spanning two-and-a-half intensive days, Asia-Global Dialogue includes plenary sessions, parallel track discussions, networking lunches and breakfasts, luncheon talks, a gala dinner, and an optional one-day visit to  southern China.
